Description of diagonal distance measuring equipment for door frame
1. Use
This instrument is a special instrument for measuring diagonal lines of air defense doors, underground gates and other door frames.
2. Components
As shown in the following figure, it comprises a support plate, a sliding plate, a range finder, a range finding pad, a limit nail and a switch magnet.
3. Brief description of functions
A, the shape of the bracket plate is a 1/4 ring structure;
B, the sliding plate can slide around the center of the circle in the dovetail groove of the bracket plate;
C, the rangefinder is fixed with the sliding plate: it is fixed by screws with limit nails on both sides;
D, two switch magnets can be adsorbed and fixed with the door frame;
E, rangefinder (with pad) can be disassembled and used alone.
4. Instructions for use
1. Align the equipment with the corner below the door frame as shown on the right;
2. Rotate two switch magnets and fix them by magnetic force;
3. Turn on the rangefinder switch (refer to the instruction manual for specific use) to prepare for measurement;
4. Rotate the sliding plate, so that the laser point of the range finder hits the diagonal welding joint, and measure;
5. Add the measured value and the calibrated value to get the true distance of the diagonal.
Note: the calibration value is the distance between the measuring datum below the range finder and the center of the bracket plate.

7. Matters needing attention
1. The rangefinder laser belongs to Class 2 laser, which can't be seen directly by human eyes;
2. When the switch magnet is in the "on" state, special attention should be paid. Please keep away from the magnetic sensitive equipment.
